KKC Architects was commissioned by Executive Hills Inc. to provide multiple renovations to the existing Office Building located at 1740 State Line in KCMO for the Corinthian College. New classrooms, labs, offices, break-out rooms, testing rooms, etc. were provided or renovated to accommodate the requirements of Corinthian College. This 3-story, $3.1 M, 20,370 SF building required new glass and glazing around the perimeter to replace the existing single-pane glass. Two elevators were added, one centralized stair, and complete parking lot reconfigurations with added landscaping to spruce up the building’s exterior an ADA audit was completed, and repairs were executed including upgrades to all restrooms. Additional system upgrades included a complete HVAC/chiller re-installation. |T/projector systems for all classrooms, security systems, fire alarm systems, and new finishes were installed throughout. Maintenance repairs to deteriorating concrete drives/sidewalks, and stone retaining walls occurred on the building’s exterior.
