1988 – 1989
KC Architects renovated and remodeled an original Kansas City, Missouri Fire Station No. 3 into a new state-of-the-art Photography Studio. The raw space in the black and white photo was transformed into a sleek studio, offices, kitchen, living quarters, conference room, and roof terrace. The original fire station facade was restored to its original condition and beauty. The studio design won several awards, was published in photography magazines, and received dream studio of the Year honors from those publications.
