A new Corporate Headquarters building comprised of 60,000 S.F. was designed and developed for Executive Hills Inc. for the future tenant Knight-Ridder. A 10,000 SF centralized computer room served the office building. An automatic generator was provided for backup power as this building and the tenants’ business could never be without power. The tenant had an average of 3 personal computers per person with links to satellite communications via roof-mounted dishes. This three-story structure provided covered parking on the lower floor that allowed expansion for additional office space as the company grew.
